I use CCE/BeSweet/bbMPG/VCDEasy to creat my own SVCD and I now I want to add subtitles using WinSubMux. The problem is that to mux subtitles I need the entire MPG (video and audio already muxed) stream, not previously splitted with bbMPG. Which program should I use to split the MPG stream to fit it on 2 CDs? TMPGEnc doesn't work well with muxed subtitles (as far as I know) and bbMPG only splits while muxing process.
I know that DVD2SVCD does it, but i don't know how (does anyone know?). And don't tell me to use DVD2SVCD. I prefer to do every step by myself...

You have to split your subtitle files. Then take your cd-sized video files and use (win)submux to add the subs.
That's how dvd2svcd does it, too ... I don't know any cutting program that will work with muxed subs (well, they work, but you will lose the subs).
I don't know how you do your subs, but subrip includes functions to split your subtitle files.

DVtool (available for download on www.doom9.org) can split MPG2 files without losing subtitles streams. The problem is that not always the splitted files works fine, specially the second part. Anyway, i've used it 2 or 3 times and only in one case i've found problems i couldn't solve.
Splitting subtitle files with subrip is another option, but i don't do it yet because i haven't got a method to know the EXACT length of the first part, that is, minutes, seconds and miliseconds (media player shows up to seconds). I want an exact timing. It's a bit anoying to watch a film with off time subtitles. Does anyone konow how get it?

Import your mpeg2-file in DVD2AVI, import your d2v file in AviSynth, import your AVS file in VDub. Maybe something like this works.

It works, but it's a bit tricky. Altough it's better than nothing ;)
