Hi, newbie, and this is a newbie kind of question, please bare with me.
I'm attempting to copy a DVD with 5 half hour episodes (about 5.3 gigs) on it. The 5 episode VOB's are split 2 to an episode, like this:
VTS_03_1.VOB
VTS_03_2.VOB
VTS_04_1.VOB
VTS_04_2.VOB
VTS_11_1.VOB
VTS_11_2.VOB
VTS_12_1.VOB
VTS_12_2.VOB
VTS_13_1.VOB
VTS_13_2.VOB
These, and their respective IFO's are all ready on my HD.
My goal is to put all 5 on a DVD and have the disk play through, without any menus. I figure I first have to make them run sequencially somehow. Once I do that, then I have to compress them down to size, but I can do that using the ReEmpeg guide.
I've read through the other guides though and I cant figure out how to work Ifoedit such that these VOBs will be linked or run sequencially, that's the trick I'm looking for! Perhaps I have to manipulate the VIDEO_TS.IFO using Ifoedit so that these VOBs are run in line? I read in a previous post that if I just rename my VOB's sequencially (e.g. vts_1_1.vob..vts_1_2.vob...vts_1_3.vob...etc) and then use ifoedit to create new ifos by clicking on that option, that it should work, but I am doubtfull. Can anyone vouch for this method? Is there an alternate way?
Please help. Thanks.
