Hi
I have a svcd .bin image file from a movie, created with dvd2svcd and by mistake it grabbed a wrong title picture and now I want to change for the right picture, but I don't know how. I've tried some tools that let me see inside the .bin file but I can't change the file. Is any way to make this without extract the entire .bin

U can't change the titlepicture or for that matter the switch picture without reenoding the entire movie.

Sorry but u have to do it all over again if u wanna use a different picture.

If you still have all files on your HDD:
Replace the wrong picture-file with the correct one. Make your .mpv-file write protect. Do a CrashRecovery. Continue from picture-conversion. If pictures are converted and it begins with the movie-conversion, kill DVD2SVCD. After this edit your .d2s-file and change the number in the line with ProjectPostition to 78. After this do again a CrashRecovery, this time from Imaging.

If you have no file Left:
Copy the mpg-file from the SVCD (e.g. with ISO-Buster) to your HDD.
Convert the correct picture to the right format (You can do a conversion of one short DVD-Chapter, chose the right picture, kill DVD2SVCD after PictureConversion and just copy the encoded picture to the directory with your mpg-file from ISO-Buster)
Use e.G. TSCV to make an Image and burn it.

Make sure to test it out with DaemonTools once you've made the changes suggested by Labersack.. no need to waste a CDR if you did something wrong ;)

Maybe this comes all too late, but maybe somebody else will have some use of this:

If you still have all the files on your HD, it's really just a piece of cake. Just replace the wrong title picture file with the right one, and run the VCDImager again for just one CD or all of them.
You can find the complete complex command lines for the VCDImager from dvd2svcd_log.txt

I know this works, because I just experimented with this. My title picture wasn't even picture, but a video sequence from the beginning of the original DVD. I grabbed it with a "3rd party ripper" (hih, that's a funny expression when we talk about a bundle of different tools :) ), encoded it to SVCD mpeg with TMPGEnc and used it as a title picture. Works perfect.

Good luck.
