Hi im doing DVDR and i wanted to know if anyone knew the best version of Avisynth to use OR what is the most recent and stable build of it..thx :)

There have been a lot of bugs fixed lately, I think I'll go ahead and roll out v2.02. Check here (http://sourceforge.net/projects/avisynth2/) in a few minutes.

For those of us who haven't been keeping close track of various Avisynth builds and who aren't familiar with the source code, could you add a readme/history file documenting the changes? (Even if the documentation is incomplete, something's probably better than nothing.)

Oops. I guess you can tell I don't spend much time browsing around sourceforge... I think I visited almost every text link, but I overlooked those tiny Notes/Monitor icons.

I've downloaded v2.02, but when I use version(), it tells me it's v2.01, 04 June 2002, is it because you didn't change the version screen in v2.02?

Crap, there's about 4 things you have to update, I always forget one of them. Koepi's only one with experience building OSS releases for public consumption; I've given him the rights, just need to convince him to work his magic for our project too.
