I converted a VCD in Movie Jack and burned the VCD also with MovieJack when i play this VCD in my Stand Alone DVD Player i see the time running on the display. But when I burn a (S)VCD with Nero i only saw "PBC Play" on the display !
And my problem is you can only burn VCD you converted with Movie Jack with Movie Jack !
DO anybody know a programm what can burn a (S)VCD with the displaying the time when playing ??? Or what to in Nero that it shows the time when playing ???
Sorry for my bad english. I'm German !

Not sure if I understand you correctly - but is there any reason not to use moviejack for burning your moviejack conversions? What sort of image file does it generate? Many image file formats can be converted to cue/bin using cdmage (cdmage.cjb.net) - be sure to get the latest beta.
If you want proper time display on your SVCDs, use vcdeasy to author your them, it comes with a built-in burning tool (www.vcdeasy.org). Alternatively, use cdrwin (not Nero) to burn the bin/cue images generated by vcdeasy.
http://www.hvrlab.org/~hvr/vcdimager/nero_bug.html explains why Nero does a miserable job burning SVCD images ...

Sorry mate, but you seem to contradict yourself there (unless you really used moviejack to convert a VCD to something else - but why?) ... using vcdeasy is really easy (thus the name?) - select either VCD or SVCD, drag your mpeg in the appropriate window. The mpeg gets checked, then you can set things like chapters, etc. , and a bin/cue is created, perhaps even burned straight away if your burner is supported by the built-in cdrdao program (setup is req'd).
For more instructions, check vcdeasy.org and/or vcdhelp.com.

pixelfreak, I've had the same problem as you and found that the problem was Nero (I was using version 5.5 to create SVCDs)
Then I used VCDeasy to create SVCD with output to BIN/CUE files, then I burned them with Nero and it worked fine. The time is displayed in the DVD player and also the FF/RW works !
You can find more info abput this in the VCDHelp forums. Some people there tell the upgrade to Nero 5.5.9.0 solve this problem, but I haven't tested this yet.

first off, no need for getting upset pixelfreak. the least you could do is phrase your sentances in calm, tangible english, but rather you speak as if your 11 years old.
anyway, just use VCDEasy and under options turn off PBC mode. but be warned: a lot of players won't play the svcd if it's not in PBC mode.
