ok i've ripped many dvds with little trouble. up until now i've used vob2audio to create my mp3s. i've been working with mothman prophecies but when i try to create an mp3 with vob2audio it gives me an error saying: "logos splitter seems to miss an audiostream" but the audio stream is there because it plays fine when i open the vobs in dvd players. so i tried BeSweet and it gives me this:

C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\bios\SBCRippack\BeSweet\BeSweet.exe -core( -input C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\vts_01.lst -output C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\moth0an.mp3 -substream 0x80 -logfile C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\BIOS\SBCRIPPACK\BESWEET\BeSweet.log ) -azid( -n1 -c normal -g 10db -L -3db ) -ota( -G max ) -lame( --scale 1 -p --alt-preset 128 ) -profile( ~~~~~ Default Profile ~~~~~ )

Error 63: No support for VOB inputs since v1.2. Use BeStrip instead :

Quiting...

so i went to that thread and made as much sense as i could of it, went to the link about BeStrip, downloaded the besweet .dll files, and the vstrip gui and put them all in the same directory and i thought it was working but when the status bar was finished i got the blue screen and the mp3 it created was 0 bytes. all i want to do is rip the damn audio from these vobs but no program seems to work. does anyone know what the problem is? vob2 audio also says i need to delete the first segment i'm not sure why but i can't do it anyways. someone please help.

peace

Use DVD2AVI to make a project and demux the AC3, then use some programs like BeSweet or HeadAC3he to get your MP3, or as I do, with AZID decode the AC3 to WAV, and then with RazorLame compress the WAV to MP3.

vob2audio is crap.

latest versions of BeSweet do support VOB inputs.
download vobinput.dll from here :
