I have ripped two short movies. I kept the main movie, but ditched all the menus en extra's. I can burn them each on a seperate DVD-R so that the movie starts playing automaticaly when i insert it in my standalone DVD player.
Since the movies are only 1,6 GB large, i can fit two of them on one DVD-R easily. However I'm not sure if this will cause trouble since:

1) how must i generate a new video_ts.ifo and VTS_O1_0.ifo (based on which movie file)

2) how can i switch between the two movies on my stand alone DVD player if there is no menu ?

I do not want to use authoring programs like Scenerist, ect...
I only want to use IFOedit...
Is this at all possible ?

I've stumbled on to a way to solve this problem. It is not the way that i would have liked it, because it doesn't create a menu which let you choose which movie you want to play, but at least you can burn 2 or more movies on one DVD this way. It works by joining the VOB's together. This way movie 2 will play automaticely after movie 1 and you can fast forward to movie 2 (via chapter points) if your wish.
You can find the description of how to do this at:

I'm still looking for another way to do this however...
Does anyone know how to create a menu that let's you choose which
VOB/movie you want to play, without using authoring programs ?

If this is not possible, is it possible to do it in a authoring program without demuxing all streams (just working with the finished VOB's)?

All input is greatly appreciated....
