Just wanted to say that DVD2SVCD is EXCELLENT. Just about as foolproof as you're going to get :) I haven't touched any settings besides the ones outlined in the Doom9 guide, and I've been more than pleased w/ the results. I've fooled more than a few people, not telling them they weren't watching DVDs ;) I'm made about 10 movies from DVDs and they look excellent. I just upgraded my PC to a dual Athlon MP 2000+, just so I can spend more time computing while I encode :)

That said, I'll be back with questions ;)

@mattman i just want to welcome you to doom9, its always nice to hear when people aren't having problems. If you want to test some new settings for yourself read this thread. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27295&perpage=20&pagenumber=2 I put my personal settings and a few others have done the same.
