View Full Version : Maestro Error "File Too Large to Import"?

I have a .MP2 file that is 4.3GBytes long (but it is under 2^32 size). Maestro will bring it into its "MEDIA ASSET" window and check it "OK", but when I try to drag it onto the TIMELINE, I get an error saying that the file is too large. This EXACT same file was imported into Spruceup without an issue.

Does Maestro have a file size limitation? I want to use Maestro because I want to create motion menus with audio (I'm capping from laserdisks for a DVD backup - in this case, SW-ROTJ).

Has anyone faced this situation in Maestro before?

Are you using the cracked version 2.5, as I believe that was a problem with it - there was a filesize check which wasn't removed.

Yeah, certainly 2198a (SMB version, NOT the TFL version) had this issue. The TFL 2199a was fine though.

There used to be a whole thread on this, on the old Flexion forums.

It's Version 2.0 (build 2044-1234). So I'm guessing that the filesize check issue goes way back. This version also has a "Dongle Time-out" issue, also.

And "yes", the crack was applied, because I'm trying to "evaluate" this program!

2044 won't compile anyway, I'm afraid, so you're flogging a dead horse :(

Please try not to drag this thread out any further, since it runs the risk of violating the forum rules. I think you now have a clear enough answer to your problem, and now know how best to proceed..
