View Full Version : Do you know a program to output video with the TV-Out of the DC10+ ?

Hi folks,
I'd like to output the MJPGs AVIs I make on the TV-out of the DC10+ to record them on VHS. The only program I know that is able to do it is the slow-heavy-buggy Pinnacle Studio 7. I'm using it for the moment, but I'd like to get rid of it.
Do you know any other lighter program that can use the DC10+ TV-out ? Maybe Premiere does it, but I also would like to avoid it...
Thanks
Djidjo

in windows98 this should be done with almost every media player (mplayer2.exe for example).
in winnt(win2k;winXP) I'm not sure (probably no !)

Thanks for your reply, but I already tried it, I have Win98SE, and mplayer2 won't output anything on the DC10+ TV-Out. Since it's not the TV-Out of the video card but of the capture card, it must be different.
Anyone else ?
Thanks !

AVI_IO can do an exellent job for this. It seamlessly plays back hours of video in different segments, although the trial version only allows you to play two segments in a row. Indeed, this is only for win98 and winME.

with the pinnacle drivers (ie, studio 7) installed, MJPEG avis playback with mediaplayer get outputted to the card as well as the overlay.
problem is its a hardware compatibility issue, and really your only solution is what pinnacle come up with.
