I use IFOEdit to remux the resulting m2v file that i create with REMPEG. Then, I open any IFO file that will be on the resulting DVD-R Disc, and I press GET VTS Sectors. Ifoedit updates the IFO files and the process is finished. Then, I open the resulting files in Power DVD 4 XP, and the DVD seems to just work fine, with extras and all. But then, after creating an image in ifoedit and burning it, the DVD has some problems. The scene selection and movie, and audio options function ok, but when I select any of the extras, for example, a trailer, they don't work and the DVD stops automatically.
What is the problem?
Please help!!!!!

majagua,
I'm sure you are aware that a DVD has many features, "extras" "Trailers" "Subtitles" "Languages" and so on.
To keep things simple, have you tried "Movie only" (you know, the DVD-R starts to play, up come the opening credits, the movie starts, the movie ends, closing credits, THE END)
IfoEdit & ReMPEG2 are very good at handling these (fairly) simple features.
More "User" (that's YOU !! ) skill is required to "go that one step further" (i.e. extras, trailers and so on).
I have found that Power DVD has a few problems with "Playback" (I use Windows XP HE) However, when burnt to a DVD and played back on the standalone (Pioneer 444) I experience no problems.
Hope this helps.

I usually play the finished project in the DVD Play option of Ifoedit by opening the VIDEO_TS.IFO. This should take you through everything just as if it were from a disc. This way you can make sure that everything is working O.K. before you burn the DVD-R have a look at http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/dvdplay.html
Happy Ripping.
