does anyone know a good software to change the speed of some DV clips? I tried premiere 6 and the result was really BAD!
for example: I have a clip that is 30 sec. long. then I would like to accelerate it to 150% now its 15 sec. long but as I said: the result is not good at all!

I found a solution: DynaPel MotionPerfect :) a great software!

ReelSmart Twixtor has a very good reputation too, although I have never yet bothered to alter the speed of my footage:

I've heard about twixtor... I wanted to try the demo. but it's not that easy I think!
however: DynaPel MotionPerfect is not a good solution at all! after several tests I have to say that if you work with interlaced material the result is not good! maybe I'm doing something wrong...
I don't know! so I think the best method is just NOT to change the speed! :(

in premiere, make sure you select the field options which are in the right click somewhere.
