Extracting MPA file from VOB

I am trying to convert DVD into SVCD using Videopack 5.0. It does not like *.ac3 format but it can read *.mpa format. How do I extract *.mpa format audio file from a .vob file?

I am a junior member, please keep it simple.

You must convert from ac3 to mpa (this is mpeg1 layer II, know like mp2). The best utility to do this is BeSweet. Fount it there http://dspguru.notrace.dk/
