how to capture a frame by script ? [Archive]

I'd want to capture a frame as "copy source frame to clipboard" do, but by script, is that possible ?

AFAIK not with VD. You would need a scripting tool to send keystrokes to VD. If you are scared of WSH then you might want to try this little tool (http://home1.gte.net/res0mbu5/windows.htm), and then your script could look like this to capture frame number 54
start,F:\\Apps\\VD\\VirtualDub.exe F:\\MyMovies\\movie.avi
wait,VirtualDub 1.4.10 - [movie.avi]
send,VirtualDub 1.4.10 - [movie.avi],^g54\n^1$
