Hi.

I have a very complicated title here, on which I want to do a full backup with CCE-Encoding. Namely it is Star Wars - Episode 1 (RC2, German)

Still not sure though, if I take Scanarist or Maestro way. The Main Movie VOBs are now 6.23 GB, resizing them to something around 4 GB should not be too difficult using CCE, with ReMPEG2 the quality isn't that good though.
So the main problem I'm confronted with is that it is a multiangle-movie. For the main-title and end-credits there are german/english versions on the discs.
In the main-movie VOBs there are 16 VOB-IDs and 10 PGCs for it.
The first PGC only uses VOB-IDs 1-7 (thats the main movie). I verified that with VOBRator. VOB-Ids 8-16 fail to render in VOBRator and in DVD2AVI there are only black frames. So I don't know what they are good for. And either what are all the additional PGCs good for? Only PGC9 uses a VOB-ID of the movie (Nr.5), the other ones only use this black-frame VOB-Ids.

That whole thing confuses me!

What would be the right way to go for?
