ac3 from movie to mp3 (2cd->1cd)

hi, my question:
i'd like to convert a 2cd rip into 1cd (i know, i know, blasphemy...), and it is necessary to encode the ac3 sound to mp3. i tried avi2wav and simply save wav in nandub but i could not feed the resulting wav into headache or besweet. how could i make this?

you don't become a real wav, but a fake one.
Just rename it to ac3 and run it through AC3fix, then you can use in your favourite programs.

ac3fix filename.ac3 filename2.ac3
and then use the second file.
