I have just encoded a movie last night, and it seems very ugly.
I have installed divx3.11alpha and last week I installed Divx5.02.
I thought this had no influence but it seems not.
Am i right if i say that we must install divx3.11 after divx5.02 if we want to have the two codec installed and if we want to make bveutiful rip with nandub?

I have also seen in Team specifications that instalation of the two codecs simultaneously was forbidden, that's why I ask this question

Divx 3.11 and 5.02 can be installed at the same time no problem. You can't install v4.12 and 5.02 at the same time (unless you do some registry tweaking). As far as what order to install them in, I would install 3.11 first then 5.02 and make sure you say NO when it ask if you want to use 5.02 to display 3.11 content.

Yes I knew that Divx 4 and divx 5 can't be installed at the same time, but I noticed a loss of quality in sbc rip since I installed Divx5.
But I thought that divx 5 decoder was better, even to play divx 3.11 content.(And I noticed that it improves quality in matter of blocks)

Un-install both codecs completely and re-install divx 3.11 and try a 30 sec sample. Then install divx 5 and see if it makes a difference. If it does, try to install 5 first then 3 and see if it still happens. I have both installed and it doesn't seem to make a difference to me.
