Haven't thought of that yet. The idea isn't that silly, if you ask me... I mean think what would it cost the movie companies to pay a few guys making crappy movies for distribution on p2p - almost nothing. But how much are they able to annoy the normal p2p users with these movies.
I'd do it if I was a movie company!! :D

Along with releasing 700Mb binary junk files labled as "new theater release - some big ripping crew(Divx).avi". It might sound silly but stranger things have happened. Not sure if I believe it. But I would not rule it out.

there are suspicions that some files in the p2p networks are 'bogus' according to this (http://www.techtv.com/news/internet/story/0,24195,3391625,00.html) article from techtv.com.

to me however, it seems far fetched.
