Resolution and RESIZE / NOISE FILTER

hi,

question:

Can I say that I get a better/worser quality of my .avi movie in the end, when I use the following settings:

a)
640x...
Sharp Bicubic
None Noise Filter

b)
704x...
Neutral
Little Noise Filter

Is it possible to say: "With settings a) I'll get a better quality than the movie with b) settings?

What is ur opinion?

if the movie is noisy and the noise filter can do a lot of work, b) will be better. However, I encountered movies where noise filters (even medium to strong settings) didn't increase the compressibility too much.

So, as always "it depends on the movie" :)
