Can't figure this one out

First off, I've ripped and burned several DVDs lately and I've run into a strange occurance. I own a Sony DVP-S360 and it will play DVD-R, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW. I have played backups of movies on all three discs and have had no problems.

I ripped "Man in the Iron Mask" and the iso (or files, I've tried both) plays fine when I play it through the computer. I burn it to a disc (both DVD-R and DVD-RW) and it will play on the computer dvd-rom with no problem. I take it to my Sony stand alone and it gives me the old "C13" error. It's not the disc, because I will burn something different on the DVD-RW and it will play the new movie with no problem. What can be causing this problem?

I have a sony 360 as well as a 550. I find that many times the s360 can't play a dvdrw and show c:13 but the exact same dvdrw can be played on a 550 perfectly. I haven't tried to burn the same movie on dvdr to see if it work on 360 or not. But it just seems the 360 is very sensitive to dvdrw. Sometimes a dvdrw that previously play will not play sometimes later with the c:13 error.
