Hi all,

I recently hired a movie from the video shop on DVD.

I ripped it using Smart Ripper, all was ok

I started ifoedit and clicked get VTS sectors.

No problems there it said it had corrected some stuff.

I then returned the move to the shop and came home to write the dvd

After 1 hour I then tried to open the film with power DVD 4.0.

I got a funny error with loads of numbers in it.

It looks like the ifo file was not corrected properly.

To my question:

Am I doing anything wrong, is it as easy as just to click the get VTS sectors?

Also if i screw up the ifo file can I make another just from the VOB's, if I can will there be any problems playing these on a DVD player.

Thanks in advance all

I'm afraid that it is a lot more complicated than that. What you need to do is lock yourself away for a couple of weeks with these guides http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/copy.html and ofcourse the DOOM9 guides.
It is fairly straightforward once you get to grips with it - honest:sly:
