Does new MPEG4IP tools support DivX 5 GMC, B-frames and psycovisual enhancements?

The title says it all, my point is i want to encode 1cd rips using divx 5 and AAC audio, XviD is cool, but DivX5 is the quality king IMO

MPEG4IP doesn't support any of the DivX5 Pro tools. At least it didn't last time I checked.

well, do you know if there are any plans of implementing them in the future???

I have no idea. I don't follow the development of that tool cosely, mainly because in my opinion the MP4 format is way too young to be of any use.

i found the MPEG4IP tools website, and this looks like promising...

What's Next

1. Ongoing interoperability with other MPEG-4 implementations
2. New codecs

That sounds like DivX5 :rolleyes: :D
