alt curve parameters

i just wanted to share my alt curve parameters beacuse they've worked very well for me... so here they are:

high:300
low:150
strenght: 65%
agression:most of the times low but sometimes medium...depends on movie

thats just my 2 cents about the alt curve.. =)

Several times I read that setting "low distance from average" over 100 is no good idea.
Personally I got some very good results with

high: 200
low: 50

strenght: 50
agression: Medium (Most of the Time)

BTW: I use these settings to have a basis on how I should tweak them for certain videos. A kind of "first-try" profile.

It seems to me that the distances aren't that important; maybe as a sort of fine-tuning after we've learnt how to use all other settings... :b The relation between the low and high distance has some effect (hi dist 3 times as high as lo --> preference for below average sized frames), but minimum relative quality / strength also, and more effectively, shovels bits from above-average to below-average frames.
