Hi-

It just means that the DVD you're decrypting is a different region from the region of your drive. It's no problem (except for being a bit slower). Just go ahead with the rip. I assume you're using DVD Decrypter for this-Smart Ripper just freezez on out of region DVDs for me.

You might check http://www.firmware.fr.st/ to see if your DVD-ROM can be patched to make it region-free.

I have currently started the decriptor thing and it is creating a iso on my hd what happens next please and what happens if it is to big?

Sorry the questions are so newbie but I have read some faqs and guides but i just dont understand them and the software they use I cant find either like the spruce meastro thing.

The audio IS there, it's just not being picked up by the player.

Just put your original DVD in the drive, select mode, iso, read and write the image. Make sure the drive where you are saving the image is NTFS. Then, just select Mode, iso, write and you'll have an identical copy of your DVD, and region free.

There is no way the audio can't work. Try on other stand alones. You can download PowerDVD XP 4 so you can try the DVD on your PC.

Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it!
