What does your CPU Usage meter show when you seek?

I am curious. Does your CPU usage go past 100 when you seek in either WMP or any other player? Both Divx 3 and Divx 5. Do you experience a slight asynch at that point because of this. Its happening to me. Only in certain movies. I have a 1.3Ghz P4. Is this not enough?Are there any workarounds. I tried to mess with msconfig to minimize the no of programs that load. but no avail. Any help/info/clarification is appreciated.

well.. i know one thing for sure.. noones usage goes past 100 % when they seek

if you hit a movie with large keyframe intervals and you seek to a spot too far from one... the video decoder has to go back to the last keyframe and decode all the frames leading up to the one you seeked to.. then it can play.. so of course its gonna try to use as much cpu power as it can so it can get to where you want the fastest...

if you use an ogm-wrapper (as opposed to avi) it seeks alot faster (you can use divx3 or 5 / and mp3 sound if you want - (i beleive) its just a wrapper format.. just as avi wraps the divx and mp3..
when you seek it forces you to the closest keyframe so there is no decoding of frames in the background.. it just starts right up

on hd seeking is close to instant on ogms
