During the pass, it stops 85% through saying the size of the movie doesnt match or it may have been the second pass and it was saying the second pass didnt match up with the first pass or something like that...wish i copied and pasted the error dialogue. This was when i am starting with a divx file. I've done a few of divx tho and havnt had this prob till now. im using dvd2svcd latest rev and CCE 2.50

**********
ok this is interesting...it was actually the 4th pass that this occured on...or it was after the vbr not sure but after i hit ok on the error, it continued on and finished.
**********

I realise this is vague but perhaps it looks familiar to someone.

Here's a copy of the log file if that helps.

Does it say checksum anywhere in the error? If it does, there is a patch for that error, search for it.

yea not sure if it did or not but ill do a search anyhow...btw this also happens with dvd's im finding out...i only started getting this error when i switched to win xp, but ive also switched to build 3 so either factor could be the cause of the error not sure.

well i use windows xp with build 3 and also i have the latest service pack 1 for xp installed. All my drivers/bios and such are to the latest with my setup i dont have any cce crashes or errors. So i would not be looking at it being windows xp myself it could be many other factors like, harware issue, a settings issue on your part also could be a software and harware mixed problem. What you can do is read around for a bit because we have researched these crashes already, and we have found just about every problem and what has been causing them. A simple search will find you the answer, if not a better way for you to understand how to test your system for you to find the answer, either way it will benefit you to search.
