i have been using CCE to encode my films and usually get a speed of 0.900 so just to be awkward i decided to try 2 films at the same time i used tmpgenc to encode SOLDIER and cce to encode BLADE tmpgenc completed in 2h 5mins and cce in 1h 50mins both running at the same time my pc remained useable
settings for both movies were cbr max 6000 min 2500 bitrate my pc is a xp2000 with 120gig 7200 hard drive with 512 meg ddram
at this speed i save a lot of valuable time

just one thing tmpgenc must be active ie click on window so you see it running
otherwise it just grinds to a halt
