Dear forum,
I hope you may share your experience with XviD while
use to encode the Dark Movie, as such 'The Others'
(Nicole Kidman) or 'From Hell' (Johnny Depp).
Which part of setting should I tweak to get the nice
result (less macroblock) for 1-CD rip.
Thank you.

Maybe you could try to set your video card (saturation, brightness etc) options and same at encoder options to default. It helped me once
when was frustrated with a very dark encode.

Hi!
This is my first post here, so I hope it works.
@ookzDVD: Maybe itīs not about the settings of Xvid but about frameserving as well.
Perhabs Iīm mistaken, but when using Avisynth some areas of dark pictures that are supposed to be black appear (at last to me) slightly green. Compressing these videos I got some strange looking green macroblocks, especially when watching the compressed stream on a TV screen.
Maybe this is not really about Avisynth (Thatīs why I havenīt posted this in the avisynth section till now. I would rather like to do some more testings on it), but using VFAPI for frameserving, I encountered less macroblocks of this kind.
If Iīm wrong , please tell me. Anyway Iīm just a newb ;)
