IS MPA the same whit MP2?

Can Besweet make MPA multichanel files from multichanel AC3?
Can Besweet make MP2 multichanel files from multichanel AC3?

What is the command line?

mpa = mp2 for most things.. some program call mp2 mpa and the other way round

besweet can create 5.1ch AIFF which you can then feed into the philips encoder (link somewhere in this forum.. use the search button;) to create mpeg2 multichannel audio. However, less players than support miniDVD support mpeg2 multichannel.. and even if the player does.. your receiver also has to support it.. and since mpeg2 multichannel never really made it in Europe (and never was a serious format outside Europe) chances that you can actually use that format are pretty slim. Plus.. with DVD-R prices getting lower and lower why not create DVDs right away.. then you can keep the original AC3 which is obviously the best solution.
