I was wondering, if I put a couple of MPEG1 352x240 movies on DVD, author with Maestro, will MPEG1 352x240 support chapters? I'm talking about putting a few of my VCD's on DVD, just wondering if I should leave them MPEG1 and if I can have chapters, thanks

half-D1 mpeg-1 video can be dropped into maestro like the D1 mpeg-2 clips and used EXACTLY the same, you will have to resample the audio to 48khz though.

You can leave them in at VCD resolution and bitrate, but you could increase the bitrate up to 1800 kbit/sec if you wanted to. I have been working on a similar project and chapters are supported.
And auenf is right, your audio will need to be resampled and reencoded at 48KHz.

What do you use to demux/remux and change bitrate for sound?
