I just purchased a Cinemaster C 3.0 hardware decoder card that DVDMaestro 2915a recognized as part of the decoder cards. During preview mode, I get video playback on my tv set, but I don't have any sound. The square box is checked as well.

This is running on an XP box 1800+ Athlon.

Any ideas?

i dont know if the cinemaster card has audio out, but the sound will probably be coming out of the 'default sound device' as setup in windows control panel.

The card has two audio outputs: an spdif and a regular two channel output. I was thrilled to see video go out to the tv set from Maestro to check for interlacing problems. Not bad from a nine dollar card from eBay. Now if I can only get the sound going.

WOOHOOO! My setup is complete! I now have the sound working throught the Cinemaster card! Apparently, the cinemaster codecs defaults to S/PDIF mode. When I run CinePlayer, the S/PDIF button is highlighted. I simply turned it off, went back into Maestro and now have Video and Sound running from a Cinemaster Hardware C v3.0 card in Windows XP!
