Green screen with mplayer2 in WinXP

I'm using the latest Koepi's build of XviD codec and when I try to watch it with mlayer2 insted of regular Win media Player 8 it show's me a green screen. When i try to change codec properties it hangs mplayer.

I have Gforce4 mx440 and AthlonXP 1600+ on VIA KT266A

You could try using ffdshow instead of the XviD ds filter. This might fix your problem. However, I realise it doesn't address the root cause.

I had to uninstall XviD, then manually delete the Directshow filter. (It was unregistering it, but not removing it)
