running besweet over a network

Hello I have two windows 2000 machines lanned together and I get pretty good speed running besweet on one machine when the files are on the other machine. However, it always dies at some point during the encoding. It scans the file for the maximum gain okay, but dies at some point after that, 5 minutes to 30 minutes I'd say.

DSPGuru, can you think of why this configuration doesn't work?

i'm not sure if i understand your setup and when BeSweet works and when it fails.
please try to explain your setup in more detail.also, let me know what was the commandline (logfile ?) and which process crashed exactly (lame_enc.dll / BeSweet.exe / etc'..)
