View Full Version : scenarist: preserving chapters
hello everybody,
although i have yet successfully authored multiple dvds with scenarist i could not yet find a way to successfully import a chapter-list (e.g. generated by chapterxtractor). although there's an option "import chapter" on the tools menu, i can't activate it as it's greyed out.
does anyone know how to automatically generate chapter-points in scenarist like it's possible in dvdmaestro?
any help is appreciated
thanx in advance

it is quite possible to import chapters, theres some german program thats supposed to be able to do it but it just crashes and i dont know how to use it cos its not in english. anyway, im workin on a solution myself, ive been workin on a program that does basically what dvd2svcd does but now ive been adding support for dvd 2 dvd-r/minidvd conversion, so, it will generate a scenarist script with all the chapters and everything and load it up for u for further editing if necesary....gonna be at least a week or two before i have it working that far, but, you can import chapters, just very painful
i am german. i could translate it. how is it called?

in ChapterXTractor there are many ways of creating output-formats manually, so exporting shouldn't be the issue. the question is: how to import?
oh come on... is no one out there to help further
