hi. i'm trying to make a divx movie into vcd. i put it in tmpeg and use the standard vcd tempate, but when i come back ot it, the program is frozen. i close it and open the movie file and there's no sound, and after the movie there is 3 hours of the last frame. it's like the avi file doesn't have a "lead-out" so the program doesn't know it's finished and therefore carries on encoding.
how do i cut the end of the avi file to make it "lead-out"??

Have you tried specifying a source range, that is some frames shorter than the actual length ?
btw, I don't get the "General Discussion" in your post ;)

that's a great idea. so i just tell it to encode upto say 2 seconds from the end. can you do that???

well i've looked in tmpeg and i can't seem to find how to do it. i found it in mpeg tools but the file is avi so that won't work. do i have to use another program?
