I cap alot, and I've been using the same setup since 2 months ago (capture in 2gb chunks in picvideo mjpeg in vdub, cut/apply filters, frameserv, encode in cce). Now all of a sudden, it's packed up on me.
VirtualDub caps fine. But when i frameserv the video always comes out too small by 3 minutes or so... I look at Vdub and it gives me the error -100 on frame #### (where #### its random even for the same piece of video).
I scan the video. No errors according to virtualdub. But as soon as I move one frame to the left, or one frame to the right, we have another -100 error on a random frame which is still undamaged (intrestingly i've noticed when i open the file then browse thru the frames, no errors :/).
I haven't installed anything new lately. Today I removed Vdub and PicVideo then made sure they were gone with a registry tool. Reboot. Reinstall. Try again... it still happens!
I've tried all of the vdub versions under the sun! But 1.4.10 was working a week ago with this setup!!
The solution isn't cut out the bad frames... there are no bad frames! Which means this is a codec problem?
Bah, this annoys the hell out of me cause it was working :(
Any and all help appriciated!
