Hi there,
I have a real unusual request: has anyone of you the title theme of DragonBallZ? (I'd prefer the german version, but english would be ok as well).
We want to make a surprise for a neighbour here and he likes anime - and since many people around here encode such content I think that someone could have it :)
Please PM me if you can supply me with an ogg/mp3/...! :)
Thanks in advance,
best regards,
Koepi

6) No warez, cracks or serials! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking or offering in any way or form is not tolerated.
AFAIK, such theme would be copyrighted, and as such, distribution would be illegal.

Ok, I'll simply rip it from TV and take the theme from there.
As some people REALLY misbehave here I'd like the moderator to close this thread, nevermind.
Thanks to all who offered to help me doing a favour to someone - and strike on those who try to make a mod look bad.
Regards,
Koepi
P.S.: a title theme isn't necessarily buyable so I don't consider this asking for warez. I'm NOT offering or asking for cracks to some commercial software... int21, this one was going too far.

Not only that but a simple search on a P2P program will reveal dozens of matches for this particular theme, not only that, but amazingly:
DragonballZ - German Theme.mp3 1,709,620 Bytes, 128kbps, 44.1khz, 1:46
I replied to the original message as I would reply to any such message, you being a mod doesn't influence that. I show you the same respect I show everyone else. I see no rule that says mods are exempt from following the rules, but hey you're the one with the power of the Strike button right? Apparently its disrespectful of the moderators to show forementioned moderators the forum rules and how they are in violation of them, let this serve (and the strike I received) as a warning to everyone.

Well maybe the problem with using P2P to find it is that all the files you find will have similar characteristic's as the file mentioned above. Crap quality, we have to raise our standards:D
Just kidding, lighten up guys...lets drink and be merry.

Well, the answer wasn't nice, it was insulting for my taste. If you'd put the words some other way it wouldn't be that way.
I didn't want to ask for warez and I still don't see it as such. (That's why the post is entitled "unusual").
I don't use any p2p software since I administrate my LAN with 100 users here and I block every known/major p2p-ports anyways on the NAT router ;)
(Yeah, I know, some people like to call that fascistic, but we have traffic limitations and the users don't know what traffic they generate by connecting to 20 gnutella nodes...).
Thanks for the suggestions, but as I wrote - I'll simply rip it directly from TV and polish it up with some filters in Audicity.

Koepi

If you want to know anything about DBZ or even want to have a look at some of the intros which were made for DBZ go to www.dragonballz.de . I don't consider this a warez link since it's mostly an info/fan site even though they offer copyrighted material for the viewing pleasure of their fans ( no episodes but e.g. as I said the various intros of the different countries )

Calling anime intros warez is ridiculous. I belong to a group of 27405 members (animemusicvideos.org) who all create music videos out of copyrighted songs and by ripping copyrighted anime DVDs. Nothing about AMVs should be legal, but nobody makes a big deal about them. Chill people. Yeesh.
