Anybody who wants to whip up something can post ideas here, email me HTML, whatever. You don't have to be a developer, just relatively clued-in to what we're about.

.. In my opinion: A page where ALL avisynth Filters are referrenced.
Not only the three or four filters the most used.I've said ALL filters with binaries download ON the site (ex yours)
I thinks this can be done by a PHP/Pearl/whateverelse form to indicate news filters and one or too uploader.

I say this because filters binaries are not very huge (150 Ko max for an avisynth plugin) but brocken links are such a pain !
And google is not very efficient in filter finding..

(I think there is( if we find them all )about hundred filters for avisynth)

Agreed 100%. Donald's page is a great start, but a lot of the reason I got interested in integrating plugins in the first place was to eliminate the wild-goose-chase aspect of it all. I can offer download space for binaries if SourceForge's isn't enough or takes too much effort (eg I know with the release packages you always get bounced to various mirrors around the world).

Richard, you'll never be able to integrate all plugins, and some filters are better kept as plugin, we already mentionned mpeg2source, but now vobsub comes to mind too. It's a marvellous suit of tools which appears to offer an avisynth interface, among other things.

There will always be room for plugins, and a central ressource is a good idea.

About web skills, if you ever looked at my page, you know I'm the worst web designer of the world :o

Don't get me wrong, integrating a zillion more filters isn't in the plans -- even if all of them were better off as such, the effort required is much better spent on other stuff. I was trying to say that's precisely why we should make it easy to download external plugins via a good self-contained website, instead of having to hunt all over the place.

A nice goal, but not as important as getting some basic info up, documentation of new and/or improved features...

Most of them are listed in the AviSynth Q&A, so it is not that bad. If I forgot some plugins feel free to add them.

Well, www.avisynth.org is now resolving to our wonderfully blank index. No need to incorporate everything discussed here in Website v1.0; any contributions at all would be appreciated.
