Which do you prefer - credits or no credits?

In all the rips I've done for a while i've took the credits out during the ripping process. Most of the films are do are 1 cd rips and I want the most quality in the movie that I can. I must admit though, it does seem strange without them. Its as if there's something missing from the film... I don't watch the credits, i think its just the psychological impact they have. Without the musical score and the rolling credits it doesnt seem that the films ended. Looks like i'll start encoding them again. What's your preferance?

I encode the credits with a very low quality, but I make sure I can still read them, in case I want to check the name of an actor or a song in the movie. At a quantizer like 26, the video for the credits from the last movie I encoded took only 3 MB, and the audio should not be big either, so I don't think it affects the overall quality of the movie.

Me neither, I always encode them at quantizer 31 so they won't be big. But cutting them off completely feels like raping the movie to me :)

Well.... IMO it does feel kinda empty/strange without the credits.. So I always encode the whole movie. But I encode the credits at a lower bitrate :)

of course they have to stay in. the only reason for looking pay-tv , they send the credits ;)

I too always leave the credits. Gordian Knot makes it so easy and it takes up so little space so I see no reason not to.

Some movies show epilogue at the credits portion, so I always keep it. Sometimes credits shows some behind the scene or something like a blooper, so I encode it with the same quality as the main part.

I don't even have to be able to read smaller fonts in the credits, they just have to scroll and play the music. Usually, you can get them down to 2 or 3 MB.

Back in my DivX 3 period I would always keep the credits through the cast... I really didn't care who was the assistant to the set painter - but it depends on the film...

Not going to try and salvage the credits on a Bruce Lee import...

Not going to cut anything from StarWars EP1.
