Bug Report? BeSweetv1.4b12 and Windows XP incompatibility

Hi,

I am trying to convert an AC3 to Mp2 using BeSweet guide. I am getting the following error (from the log file):

BeSweet v1.4b12 by DSPguru.
--------------------------
Using azid.dll v1.8 (b825) by Midas (midas@egon.gyaloglo.hu).
Error 41: Unable to get MP2enc interfaces
Quiting...
[00:00:00:000] Conversion Completed !
Logging ends : 07/04/02 , 12:40:29.

And here is my command:
"c:\DVD Ripping Tools\BeSweet1.4b12\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "d:\vobs\Lagaan\audio\lagaan_ac3.ac3" -output "d:\vobs\Lagaan\audio\lagaan_besweet.mp2" -logfile "C:\DVD Ripping Tools\BeSweet1.4b12\BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -c light -L -3db -F wav32 --maximize ) -ota( -g max ) -2lame( -m j -b 224 -e )

Please advise.

you probably ignored the fact that v1.4b12 is an Upgrade to v1.3 ;)

from here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15738) :7 Latest stable release is : v1.3. Latest beta release is v1.4b12.
8 if you've downloaded a beta version, beware it's an upgrade to the latest stable version, and you must unpack the stable version first.
btw, why are you using a beta release (v1.4b12) while you could use a stable release (v1.3) :) ?

edit: actually beta looks quite good when you're comparing it to something like 0SEx 0.0101a5 (mac dvd rip tool)

Last week or 2 weeks bfore I just downloaded the latest file available from Doom9s site. Thats why I guess I had the beta version. But I have downloaded ver 1.3 and will try using that.

BTW, when I looked at the BeSweet directory the mp2enc.dll file was missing altogether! Which explains the error I guess :rolleyes:

i really don't know if it's a bug or whatelse...
When i click "Ac3 to Mp3" opens a dos windows and closes itself automatically.
I don't know if the program create a log or something
I'm running the BeSweetv1.4b9 at the moment, asap i'll try to find some log about that "bug"
If DSPguru or someone else could enlighten me, i'll be thankful
