Dvd2svcd 109b3 problem waiting for CCE to close?

I am trying to convert a divx to svcd using cce 2.50 as encoder.

Hit a problem with a 5sec test clip that was cutout with nandub.

Dvd2svcd starts cce and i can see cce finish the encode with a file created. But it does not quit and both dvd2svcd and cce just wait in limbo. One workaround to finish the job is to click on cce encode button again, sometimes i have to press encode a few time for it to encode and successfully quit. Seems random to me, cos sometimes the first go there is no problem. Puzzled...

Is this a cce problem or is dvd2svcd suppose to close cce but somehow can't see that cce has completed its job?

I saw the same thing when I was doing some test runs with very short clips (<10 seconds), I worked through it as you did. CCE would finish but DVD2SVCD log tab would show something like 50% completed. I don't know the cause but I wouldn't worry about it if it's something you can live with while doing test clips. I've never seen the problem occur with my "real" full length conversions, or even test clips of 30 seconds or greater.

Thanks for reassuring reply, would have been more work to continue manually after hours of encoding if it hangs at the end. Glad that isn't so.
