Hi guys I have a question 4 ya... I'm encoding "The Cider House Rules" with DVDx... I find that software pretty easy 2 run so...

I'm encoding it with this Divx5 settings:

1 pass quality based at 100%

Quarter Pixel Activated
And Bidirecctional Encoding

with Light Pre-Processing

with Max quanticer 12
with Min quanticer 4

And all the rest untouched.

I use at DVDx:

BiCubic SSE/3DNow+ filter
Size 720x576
Audio 48000 256kps of Q1

AND I GET .... 2,6mb per Minute... the film is 2 hours so I can fit it on a single cd...!!!!!!!!!!!!

So... I get a pretty image... a little blurry, but not 2 much... belive me... not 2 much...

So my question is:

I'm missing something??? I can't belive that my movie can fit on a half cd!!! at full size and at the top of audio quality. Is DVDx2.0 the magic software???

CAN I improve the video quality??? I think that 2,6mb per minute is very little... and maybe there is another way 2 improve the image making the movie bigger... Can u help me?

Btw... What's B-Frame means??? I've read on this forum not 2 use it!!!

Thanks in advance and Big kisses from Spain
