So I use the correct version of PVAStrumento (10) and all the stuff looks good. Now when I execute the conversion it runs the *job.txt BUT Windows tells me the program it is running is somewhere c:\Dokumente_Und_Einstellungen\InternetExplorer\Quicklaunch... WHY? After a while a WinXP Popup comes to tell me that PVAStrumento failed and has to be closed.

- PVA to SVCD Conversion
- PVA2SVCD ver. 1.0.9 build 3

Initializing
Initializing finished.

Saving PVA Job:
- D:\V\PVA_Job.txt

Executing PVAStrumento. Commandline:
"C:\cPVAS.exe" "D:\V\PVA_Job.txt"

PVAStrumento failed to execute.

I tried to keep the pathes and all as short as possible..

The file I want to encode is ~2GB in size but that canīt be the problem I think.
If anyone has ANY idea Iīd be happy to hear about it!

Thanks in advance!

I'm no expert and I'm running Win2K. I've only done a couple of short tests with PVAStrumento.

But, that PVAStrumento download has 2 EXEs.

Make sure DVD2SVCD is pointing to "cPVAS.exe" in the "cmdshell" folder NOT "PVAStrumento.exe" in the "gui" folder.

yea sure I did that - and I also tried to run the thing itself from cmd - it sais some nice stuff about no A/V delay etc. etc. but it only works for like 30seconds, then it crashes.
