How do I redo subs?

My first time I used DVD2SVCD everything came out perfect except for the subs. SVCD subs dont work on my DVD player so I was wondering how do I rip CVD subs and remaster the image without having to go through the entire process over again?

I have never used subs before but as far as I know, you would have to do the whole thing again. There might be a very complicated way to do it with out having to re do the whole thing, but I do not know it. Also you might want to try a search and see if you can find something, I am pretty sure that someone had this problem before.
