When you add a new media file (m2v and ac3) under spruce up and you receive this message: Cannot locate a frame sync rate the error is caused by a different lenght between the stream video and the stream audio. The problem can be solved ripping the dvd using for example DVD Decrypter 3.1.0.0 and leave only the ANGLE 1 skipping all the rest of the multiangle structure (you know the white rabbit??????). After you can also skip menù,extras, subtitle and other languages using ifoedit.
Now if it's necessary to separe the stream audio (.ac3) from the stream video (.d2v) because you want to encode and make a DVD9->DVD5 you can use DVD2AVI and encode the video with TMPEG like I do. The importing and authoring finally will work fine without error message.
Enjoy..........
