I´ve designed a spanish version guide about the creation of DivX with Gordian
Knot 0.26, the TheWEF´s excellent application.

you are right, there is another spanish Gordian Knot translation but
it is South American Spanish. I'm from Spain and for us that translation
is quite funny.

I recomend http://www.lanzadera.com/gknot to all people who want learn real spanish.

Please, note that I'm not involved in any Gordian Knot translation project and I get along with south america people also.

Voy a expresarme en español, por lo que pido disculpas de antemano (agradecería que alguien pudiera traducir al inglés la idea de lo que quiero decir al resto de la comunidad).

Lo único que yo quiero es indicar que he escrito una guia nueva sobre Gordian Knot 0.26 y que doy a conocer por si a alguien puede serle útil, a pesar de la excelentes guías que hay sobre el tema en doom9.

No se trata de ninguna traducción ni entro en detalles sobre cuál es el perfecto castellano.

Hi, I am te guy in charge of the Spanish Project. I have to tell you that I am from South America (from Argentina to be precise) but most of the translators working with me are from Spain. In fact, the GordianKnot guide is almost all tranlsated by Spanish people (I only translated the introduction, since the guy who tranlsated the rest forgot about it).

Well, espere4 I think that your translation has incorrect spanish but it 's not a bad translation....a bit funny for us. In fact, your translation is an exact Doom9 guide translation. Maurus guide is a version (but realy good)

Primero quiero dejar claro que no tengo nada en contra de vuestro castellano/español y tampoco pertenezco a la Real Academia de la Lengua :-)) .

Yo he estado trabajando ahí en Buenos Aires y sinceramente me encanta vuestro acento (y el barrio de la Boca...y los asados...muhhhh) pero me resulta gracioso cosas como:

Ejecutá el Paquete Instalador de GordianKnot, luego instalá la actualización a GKnot0.26.

No te preocupes, no me ofendí ni nada. Sólo quería aclarar que no toda la guía está traducida por mi. Es página sí, porque el pibe que tradujo el resto se olvidó.
En fin, son diferencias del lenguaje que no deberían molestar demasiado. Yo trato de escribir en un castellano más neutro, pero siempre se escapan las palabras típicas de mi idioma.

Aprovecho para invitarte a que formés (o formes ;) ) parte del equipo de traductores de Doom9 al Español. Tenés las intrucciones acá (http://spanish.doom9.org/voluntarios.htm).

De paso te cuento que mi nombre no es espere4, sino epere4.

I don't know if you have read the guide (I think you didn't) becoyse it was translated for me, I`m spanish, fron Spain (EU) born in burgos and living in Valladolid (I allwais thougt thas was here were the spanish language born, here or 500 m. far away) and the guide can has a orthographic mistakes or some letters dancing. But is faulse tha tjhat guide was written in South american spanish (all the ways that not seems to me important) in the Epere4 proyect we are fron a lot of 'spanis speaking' countries. I think this is positive for all. And make the guides more funny.

Por otra parte, te felicito por tu guía que está muy bien hecha y muy clara. Aunque sigo sin ver la diferencia entre que la escriba un Argentino o un Español...confieso que aunque ya sabía como hablan por allí...creía que escribian las cosas igual que aquí (aunque las pronunciaran distinto).

No coprendo a que viene tanta polémica por el perfecto castellano.

En este thread yo solo quería dar a conocer una guia nueva escrita por mí sobre Gordian Knot 0.26, que debe ser el auténtico protagonista de este foro.
