Yesterday I just succesfully encoded "Big mommas house" and "Heartbreakers" using the latest version of DVD2SVCD (v.1.09.B3). Today I was gonna do "Cast away" and "Me, myself & Irene" but I've run into trouble.

When I try to preview "Cast away" I get this message:

Access violation at adress 02816F98 in module 'MPEG2DEC.DLL'. Read of adress FFFFFFFF.

When I click on "new frame" I get this error message:
Avisynth: caught an access violation at 0x02d31d1a, attempting to read from 0x02d5e418

If I click on "new frame" again I get this error message:
Invalid floating point operation

If I ignore the error messages and star to conversion DVD2SVCD stops responding when examining the subtitles.

When trying to preview "Me, myself & Irene" I only get this error message:
Access violation at adress 02816F98 in module 'MPEG2DEC.DLL'. Read of adress FFFFFFFF.

I've tried to play the .vob files in WinDVD which could be done but my system seemed to choke on it for some reason.

System specs:
AMD 1.4Ghz/266Mhz FSB (no OC)
512MB DDR-RAM, PC2100 ECC
Gigabyte 7D-XR motherboard
OS: Windows 98 2nd Edition

What can u suggest guys?

Hi-

You'll have to post the .avs for us to help. Did you edit the .avs to put the subs in?

Like clix suggested, if you use something other than internal rip procedures (like SmartRipper) it can cause problems similar to this. I also remember reading somewhere (i think) that using MPEG2DEC2.dll was supposed to help clear up such problems...
