hi
uncheck in nero "burn standard svcd" this should work..
but nero isn`t recommanded for burning svcd`s since it has a bug with the wrong packet size...
so maybe get some knowledge about vcdeasy and cdrwin...
read the guides and search the forum..
hope this helps a bit...

Firstly you should read what Nero tells you. Is your mpeg compliant? 480x480 or 480x576, 25 fps or 29.97 fps, mp2 audio < 224 kbps? Was it muxed correctly (with bbmpeg f.i). Then look to other solutions. In general Nero is a quick and very dirty way of getting svcd's fast, but the downside is wierd behaviour on some mpegs.
cheers

hi, sounds like your trying to add a svcd mpg to a vcd complication in nero.. u must of picked videocd and tried adding the mpg which was a svcd to the complication.... turn off the wizard then choose super video cd in the list on the left side and then try adding the mpg... not sure but thats what sounds like your problem was
to make sure your mpg file is ok, i recommend using one of tmpeg svcd templates for the encoding.

Hi Norco:
I too Think That is what is Being Done Here...
I Do This ALL The Time Here!! My DVD Player Won't Play SVCD, SO I Change
the Header File, And Burn as A VCD!!!
I use Tmpeg (TOOLS), and convert Header... It's Only A few Minutes, and Then use Nero to Burn as a VCD... No Quality LOST!!!
There are Other Posts on This, SO I Hope This Info Helps Here.
IT DOES WORK!!!

Oh, not only happens this situation, but also there is the audio and video's asynchronous problem resulted from it, so I recommend you direct use Nero instead of making svcd by TMPGEnc, you can downlaod the latest version of Nero "Nero Burning ROM 5.5.9.0 & SVCD_Plugin & Mp3Pro_Plugin"from the Free Downloads Area of www.jummpa.com

If your authoring software supports it (or you use DVD2SVCD), then have it create a disk image, then use Daemon Tools to mount the image and do a Disk Copy from the Daemon Virtual CD/DVD drive to your burner. Caution, you will get a CD/DVD of exactly what you generated i.e. if you did the SVCD wrong, then your CD will be wrong - but for me, it seems to be fastest and simplest way to burn a VCD/SVCD/DVD(plus I get to check if the 'disk' will be compliant by running the virtual CD in WinDVD first before burning).
Berns9, do you use DVD2SVCD to create your SVCDs? I used the same solution (inserting VCD headers into an SVCD file so my player would play it) but it worked only when I was encoding the SVCD directly. DVD2SVCD creates files/images that fill the number of disks allowed in the bit rate tab - then when you insert the VCD headers, the file is too big to burn to a CD. Have you gotten around that? I gave up and went and bought (yet another) DVD player that plays SVCD in native mode (with sub/audio support:sly: ).

Hi,@
Well For Me I use DVD2SVCD. I Make the full Bin and Cue Sheet.
Load this up in damon, And copy The Aviseq.mpg to a temp directory..
Then I use tmpeg tools a convert the header to vcd.
Burn with nero as a vcd, and My player works, with Great Video, and no sync problems...

when i burn a svcd with nero5590
and enable menu in the wizard,
choice image,fonts,etc....new...
then select a mpeg and burn,
the audio is out of sincro.
BUT if i don't select the enable menu,
and burn the same mpeg,
the sincro is perfect with audio and video.
it's a bug or some thing that i don't know?
thanks in advance!!
