bicubic directshow resizer 1.3 trouble

Hi!

I've been using this filter for a while, but now it isn't working anymore...
I havn't installed anything special or something, so it's kinda strange...
Somebody has an idea why? Or maybe there is a newer filter I missed?

Version 1.3.0.0 has a bug :
if the resizing-size is smaller than the original video-size, than the filter (and the Media Player) fails.

Because of the failure you can't reset the resizing-values, you must delete the key which holds those settings in the registry :
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Direcshow Bicubic Resize Filter]

you can also deinstall version 1.3.0.0 (in the system [or system32] directory you must type in this : regsvr32 /u bicubic_resizer.ax) and install version 1.2.1.0 (regsvr32 /s bicubic_resizer.ax), which hasn't got this bug.

Formerly, I also used this bicubic_directshow.ax thing, because I needed it sometimes (urgently) as a workaround for some unique TV-out problems.
But I always got nuts when using it, because it was very unhandy. And the procedure of always registering, unregistering, registering, because *most* time I *didn´t* need it ... , OMG!

May I draw your attention to FFDSHOW?

yeah, I know it and I use it for divx. But I don't know how to use them with mpgs... So, how can I use ffd for s/vcds?
