Idea: 2D cleaner in ffdshow

Hmm well I was sitting there in virtualdub doing nothing special when I was previewing something with the 2D cleaner filter and I noticed that it was realtime on my 1ghz athlon/384 ram. This made me ponder.. which is never a good thing.. and then the question hit me.

Could the optimized versions of 2D cleaner's code be implemented into ffdshow as part of postprocessing? This would do good for cleaning up anime on the fly for watching and re-encoding for vcd in tmpg. 2D cleaner is a good filter and would be cool for postprocessing divx downloads and the like.

indeed, optimized 2d cleaner is excellent for cartoons, as is warp-sharp filter. i think milan is/was working on a warp-sharp implementation. unfortunately, both of them are quite cpu intensive.... maybe trbarry could help with an optimized implementation? ;)

it just all takes time (to program and REAL-time for playback) ;)
